| Personal History | Born in 2377 to two human parents, he faced a challenging start to life when, at the tender age of four, he was left to navigate the world on his own. This early abandonment led him into the foster care system, where he moved through numerous foster families. Each of these families struggled to understand a child consumed by dreams of adventure and exploration among the stars. From a young age, he harbored a profound passion for space, often gazing up at the night sky and imagining distant worlds. Upon graduating from high school, he made a life-changing decision that would shape his future: he relocated to California. He was especially drawn to San Francisco, a vibrant city known for its connection to Starfleet. He spent countless hours at the spaceport, mesmerized by the impressive sight of Starfleet shuttles launching into the vastness of space. During this period, he solidified a promise he had made to himself at age 15: to join Starfleet, serve the galaxy, and ultimately make his biological parents proud of the person he would become. After successfully completing his education and training, he embarked on a distinguished career as a Marine, undertaking four rigorous tours of duty that tested his limits and resolve. During this time, he served in various combat situations, developing his skills and expertise. However, his journey was marred by tragedy; he lost three close comrades in the line of duty. The memories of those losses haunt him, and he grapples with the weight of survivor's guilt, questioning why he survived when they did not. Following his four tours, he sought a new path within Starfleet and transitioned to the role of Security Chief on a starship. It was a challenging but rewarding position that allowed him to utilize his combat experience in a different context. After transferring to the USS Halo, he briefly entered into a relationship with Emily Janeway. Despite initial hope, their connection fizzled out after just three days. Just when he thought he would remain alone, fate intervened again. He met Lilly, a bright and compassionate medical officer stationed at Starbase 113. Their connection blossomed quickly, and they soon became a supportive and loving couple, finding solace in each other's company amidst the demands of their Starfleet duties. Now, in the year 2402, he has achieved a significant milestone in his career. He was promoted to the rank of Major and assigned to Templar Station, where he is set to take over as the Marine Commanding Officer. This new role presents him with the opportunity to lead and mentor others, utilizing his experiences and lessons learned to shape the next generation of Starfleet personnel. |
